Did you make it out for the bikes, beer and bemusement in Denver this weekend? Tour de Fat, hosted by New Belgium Brewing Company, is the annual event highlighting costumes, bike riding, music and best of all–beer. But don’t be fooled by the amount of fun you can have riding around and drinking the latest seasonal brews, this event is for charity. All of the money raised from beer buying and product purchasing goes towards local bicycle nonprofits including BikeDenver and Denver Cruisers.
Just in case you didn’t make it out for the annual fest, we collected words of wisdom from the beer fueled Tour de Fat-goers, dressed in everything from NASA suits to unicorn onesies. Below you can see some of the wildest costumes from the festival and alongside event-goers’ words of wisdom for your daily dose of quirky inspiration.
