High Plains Comedy Fest, one of the largest comedy festivals in Denver, is set to return to South Broadway and the Paramount theatre August 25-27. Once again, High Plains will showcase a mix of national and local acts including headliners Garfunkel & Oates, Kyle Kinane and Cameron Esposito.  This new wave of comics welcomes back many local faces including the Grawlix crew consisting of Adam Cayton-Holland, Andrew Orvedahl and Ben Roy, who will return to Denver fresh off the set of their second season of Those Who Can’t. Los Angeles will also lose a little more laughter as Denver’s Troy Walker, Kristin Rand, Chris Charpentier and Jordan Doll will also return to perform at the festival. Other can’t miss comics at this year’s event include comedy legend Bobcat Goldthwait, Jonah Ray from Hidden America and Mystery Science Theater 3000, and Baron Vaughn from Grace and Frankie.
