Andrew Bird @ Paramount Theater  (Denver, CO)

Indie crooner Andrew Bird flies back into the Mile High this week for a performance at the Paramount Theater. Know for his vast musical talents, the multi-instrumentalist creates his music by looping layers of different beats and riffs right before the audiences’ eyes. Watching Bird perform, even for those who don’t know him, is fascinating to say the least.

Leon Bridges @ Paramount Theater (Denver, CO)

Hailing from Atlanta but raised in Texas, Leon Bridges will bring his southern soul back to Denver this week. The suave singer, whose album “Coming Home” was nominated for the Best R&B Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, seems to improve his performance every time he returns the Queen City. Catch him at, what could be, his best act yet with his set this Wednesday at the Paramount.

Grimes and Florence & The Machine @ The Pepsi Center (Denver,CO)

You could probably satisfy any musical desire solely at a Grimes show. The Canadian performer is bringing her unique, off the wall sounds to the mile high city this week as the opening act for Florence & The Machine. Both artists have beautiful voices and are so good at their craft. These female powerhouses are known for passionate performances and we expect this show to be no different.

Shakey Graves & The Devil Makes Three @ Red Rocks (Morrison, CO)

Shakey Graves is the perfect guy to help us welcome in the warm weather. This one man blues band from Austin, Texas is always amazing to hear. After Shakey Graves’s smooth voice mellow us out, The Devil Makes Three will get us back on our feet, dancing. The best part, The Wood Brothers are opening. If you haven’t seen them yet, you definitely need to ASAP. They are known for funky bass stylings and folksie, rock performances. It’s like your next door neighbors are playing singalongs for you and your 9,000+ friends.

My Morning Jacket @ Red Rocks

 

This funky band is just what our weekend needs. From country to rock to psychedelic melodies, this group has something to offer no matter the mood. My Morning Jacket has a cool sound that goes well with weekend vibes and cold beer. It’s the perfect weekend activity – awesome nature views, beautiful weather, and laid back hangs.
