7 Places to Take Mom for Brunch This Mother’s Day

On what is arguably the biggest brunch day of the year, it’s best to know how to take care of mom with great food, tasty drinks and a fun time. From Frasca Food & Wine’s first-ever to bowling for brunch at Punch Bowl Social, here’s a list of where to dine on Mother’s Day.

In conjunction with kicking off rosé season, Frasca Food & Wine hosts its first ever brunch on Mother’s Day. Sweet and savory selections for the two-course brunch include chocolate cherry focaccia, chicken liver mousse with pickled mustard seeds and more with optional pairings of rosé, Champagne, and Chablis. First seating for brunch is at 11:30 a.m.

EDGE Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons is rolling out a few specialty dishes for Mother’s Day brunch and will also host a special buffet in the grand ballroom. Expect a Colorado cheese and charcuterie station, house-smoked Scottish salmon and more from the buffet. Finish the special day on a sweet note with a selection of desserts, including waffle and ice cream sandwiches, banana bread pudding and more.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a Colorado-inspired buffet featuring carving and omelet stations at Second Home Kitchen + Bar’s Fireside from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Early birds can enjoy the restaurant’s weekly Pajama Brunch with a do-it-yourself Bloody Mary bar and $14 bottomless mimosas.

Get an early start on Mother’s Day celebrations at the Crimson Room from Thursday through Saturday with a specialty cocktail. The Mother of Pearl combines cucumber vodka with lime, sugar and liquid nitrogen for an elegantly smooth elixir crafted for mom.

If your mom is a bit of a bowler, get her over to Punch Bowl Social, where her brunch is free if she can bowl a strike on her first attempt. Even if it’s a gutterball, all mom’s get a free mimosa upon arrival. The brunch buffet features an over-the-top selection ranging from a Tender Belly ham carving station, monkey bread French toast, jambalaya and more.

Treat mom to $5 glasses of wine along with brunch on Postino’s patio in LoHi. Satisfy her sweet tooth with a walnut toast, triple creme brie, and house-made berry preserves, or hit a savory note with the B.E.L.T. panini with applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and Dijonnaise.

Give mom the front row experience at Coohills’ annual all-inclusive chef’s table brunch. The menu from chef Tom Coohill features decadent dishes including Wagyu tallow biscuits with Berkshire pork belly gravy, a Lyonnaise sausage scramble with mushrooms and spinach, herb-crusted prime rib and more. Sip on $12 bottomless mimosas or build your own Bloody Mary for $10. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited.
