Red Light Thursdays is the latest weekly to heat up the nightlife scene and Bar Red is the place to be. Hosted by Azon Classic, the evening features the hottest in future R&B, instrumental hip-hop and deep house. The lights go down around 9pm and the bar serves its signature stiff cocktails while a different DJ keeps the tunes in heavy rotation.
Last time we checked in on Bar Red, owner Zach Young talked about making the bar a place for evening excursions that are paired perfectly with good music, booze and the best food in town. The idea behind Red Light Thursdays is to ease patrons into the weekend with deep, slinky beats that entice you to the dance floor. Azon Classic, the deejay and premier beatsmith is the man behind the project.
The October lineup is stacked with performances from artists in Denver including Mahkota, MILKY.WAV (formerly Black Jordan) Elijah Moore of Strait Flexin and more. This evening, music will be handled by Iowno and Sub Theory. Expect hot beats and a good bit of dancing.
Bar Red boasts of its Italian cuisine, innovative cocktails and the live local music in the lounge almost every night.
