Culinary Culture: WineFest at Denver Aquarium

153782658By now, the majority of events for this weekend have been cancelled. This “biblical flood” raging in Colorado (yes people are actually calling it that) has brought a lot of our lives to a standstill. Many of us are giving into the rain and are settling in the for the weekend. But for those of us who aren’t socially inept, there is good news. There is still ONE event that is still going strong in Denver this weekend. The Denver Aquarium will still host their annual “Winefest”. The event will feature the best wines of Sonoma with wineries such as Francis Ford Coopla, La Crema and Jordan vineyards. Food will be provided by local steakhouse favorite, Morton’s and of course a little seafood by Oceanaire. So if you’re willing to brave the storm, spend the day at the aquarium with a little wine. Maybe we should all start making friends with the sea creatures anyway…
