Wire, metal, ceramics, paper and pencils may just be simple, everyday tools to most people, but to a group of inspired artists they all come together to create art without boundaries. This exhibit of mixed media celebrates the freedom of artists to break away from the confines of just one medium to combine several techniques into a pieces that challenge our ideas of art. Juried by artist Carlos Fresquez, the show opens Thursday, July 12 and will be available for viewing until July 29. An artist’s reception will be held Friday, July 13 for the various featured artists to meet and discuss their works with patrons.
