I have long been a fan of all things Macy’s, and the department store’s Bar III clothing line is yet another reason to celebrate. Launched in February 2011, Bar III immediately became a hit as the anchor of Macy’s Impulse department (which offers women’s, men’s, jewelry and home items). Now, the brand is making its mark at some of the top vintage style bazaars across the country. And, lucky for us, Bar III will be at the Mile High Flea Market (7007 E. 88th Ave.) on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“From its inception, the Bar III aesthetic has been essentially post-modern – an eclectic hybrid of American design,” says Nancy Slavin, SVP of marketing at Macy’s. “The brand encourages the juxtaposition of the old with the new by accenting wardrobe staples with vintage finds, making it perfect for any wardrobe.”

Both women’s and men’s merchandise will be available at the Mile High Flea Market in a variety of sizes for shoppers to try on and order on-site from Macys.com. The women’s line includes a wide variety of pixie dresses, ranging from $58 to $78, plus $20 basic tops, $68 novelty tops, skirts from $38 to $68, and bottoms from $48 to $68. Menswear includes pants for $69, shorts for $39, jackets for $99, classic suit separates for $49.50 and suits for $495.

“By bringing Bar III to the markets, we are making it a one-stop destination for the millennial consumer,” Slavin says. “All purchases at the flea market will be done directly through Macys.com with the help of iPads and the added plus of free delivery. Our customer is always in search of newness, and that’s exactly what this brand delivers. Bar III grants access to an ever-evolving array of trend-right fashion in real time. The way the customer has embraced Bar III has surpassed our expectations, and we’re excited to share it with shoppers in Denver.”

Los Angeles fashion maven Aimee Song of Song of Style also will be on hand to assist customers in putting together an amazing outfit. “She constantly hits the streets in search of thrifted fashion to complement her modern closet staples – the perfect fit for Bar III,” Slavin says.

Admission to the Mile High Flea Market is $3 for adults, and free for kids 11 and younger. The market also includes acres of additional shopping, food and rides. For more information, visit Mile High Flea Market or call 303.289.4656.
