Last week “Mind Your Biz” was off. This week we are going to talk Charity!
First up is “Taste of the Nation.” Its mission is to end childhood hunger in America. This event brings together some of the city’s hottest chefs, and, of course, mixologists for a tasting dinner. The event is going to be held at Mile High Station this Sunday, July 18th. I’m excited to see some of my friends from Colt & Grey and TAG, among the list of BIZnesses involved. Tickets are still available.
Next we have “Step Up For Cancer.” Now, this charity I will be blogging about throughout the month because there are many small event happy hours and so on, all leading up to the BIG STEP UP event! This event is a gathering of all metro-area non-profit cancer organizations coming together in one place to increase awareness and raise money in the fight against cancer.
So this first event is going to be held at one of my favorite lounges in Cherry Creek North. On July 21, head over to miniBAR, located at 2623 East 2nd Avenue, for fabulous drink specials and a chance to meet the Step Up for Cancer volunteers. A portion of the night’s proceeds will be donated to the event. miniBAR has also created a signature cocktail for the night that will be available for $5. If you register that night, you will be entered in a raffle to win a miniBAR bottle service for a future date. Bring your friends, family and co-workers!
