Denver officially kicked off the Outside Summit today with the debut of the Outside Ignite pitch competition. Five up-and-coming startups from the outdoor and active lifestyle space took the stage to pitch their ideas in front of judges and a lively crowd, all vying for a $100,000 prize package in cash and advertising. The event also featured a People’s Choice Award, presented by REI Co-op Path Ahead Ventures, giving the audience a chance to vote for their favorite concept and reward another standout with a separate prize.
