We’re just now winding down a bit from the final iteration of the Underground Music Showcase, but that doesn’t mean there’s time to put the dancing shoes away! There’s plenty of excellent shows comin’ right up:
The enigmatic Oregon producer Supertask is bringing a three-night Calibration to Cervantes’ Other Side from 7/31 through 8/2 this weekend. For the first evening, he’ll have Comisar, Ives and Indobeats starting the night off. Night two sees Supertask joined by Cloud_D, Seeded Vision and Khariszma, while the final Calibration will have Supertask performing with ESCPE, Black Taffy and Womb Tang. This will be an extremely special set of shows, so get out and get yourself calibrated!
The queen of Bimbocore herself is gracing the Mile High City this week — Scene Queen is coming to the Gothic Theater as part of her “Hot Shows In Your Area!!!” tour this week. Fresh off a series of killer Warped Tour performances as well as spots at other festivals, she’ll be bringing up both Girli and Deadlands to tear the roof off the Gothic. Don’t miss this wild Wednesday show!
The legendary Tedeschi Trucks Band will be taking over the Red Rocks Amphitheater for a two-night run on 8/1 and 8/2. Mainstays of the blues scene with dozens of festivals and decades of amazing performances under their belt, a Tedeschi Trucks show is always an unforgettable experience. They’ll have Grace Bowers warming up the crowd each night of the Red Rocks run too, so these are guaranteed to be fantastic gigs.
