Avanti Food & Beverage, an imaginative food hall that first opened its doors in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood in 2015, then another location in Boulder in 2020, has now opened its third location in Vail.

Inspired by European markets and local food trucks, the Avanti prides itself on being a culinary think-tank for up-and-coming chefs and new food concepts to create gourmet food at affordable prices. And that’s exactly what they have brought to Vail Mountain as the mountain town’s latest après ski scene.
Located at the base of the Riva Bahn Express at Golden Peak, the Avanti Vail took over the Larkspur restaurant and now features five food concepts and two full-service bars.

Backyard Burgers serves up crave-worthy smash patty burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches and all the classic comfort food you crave after a day on the slopes. Or check out Boychik, which you’ll also find at the Avanti in Boulder, for Mediterranean-inspired food that’s focused on fresh, natural, healthy ingredients.

Grab a bowl of ramen at Glo—a Japanese kitchen dishing out everything from a rich and savory tonkotsu ramen to daily fresh sliced sushi and sashimi and crave-able small plates.
Of if you prefer a slice of an American classic pizza, check out Powder Crust Pizza. Savor artisanal pizzas and slices crafted with non-GMO heirloom grains and premium ingredients, including the unique dough, made from Italian Caputo flour and Colorado spelt.

Detoor, the grab-and-go market, opens first at 8:00 a.m. to start your day off right with breakfast options before you hit the slopes. During the day (and night), Detour carries lunch and dinner options with iartisanal sandwiches, fresh bruschetta and a luxurious oyster and caviar counter for an elevated dining experience.
In addition to its array of dining options, Avanti Vail also offers an innovative bar program, featuring locally inspired cocktails such as the Buckin Chute, made with house-infused spruce vodka.

Creating the mountain vibes and cozy corners are Oz Architecture and design from Scout Interiors of Denver. You’ll find plenty of seating and standing options for sipping on champagne and slurping up a bowl of ramen. Stay warm, whether you’re inside or outside, with fireplaces and shaggy throws that add to the overall après vibes.
The new location hosted a grand opening last month that featured performances from DJ Bowie Jane and DJ KendollMusik, a little sampling of the type of entertainment people can expect at Vail’s latest après ski destination. Boasting the largest patio in Vail, the food hall’s slopeside location features fire pits and a large outdoor bar making it the perfect place to round out your day on the mountain with a drink, food and good conversation.

Avanti Vail is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with extended evening hours on Thursday through Sunday until 11 p.m. Avanti Vail also offers late-night happy hour daily from 8:00 p.m. to close, featuring both drink and food specials. Live DJs are scheduled every weekend from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., with plans to expand après programming throughout the 2025 ski season.
Parking is available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Golden Peak ski school lot and after 5:00 p.m. in front of the Golden Peak Lodge. The space is on the free Town of Vail shuttle line, and a quick walk from Gondola One.
