As rising costs continue to affect household budgets across the country, EscapeWorks Denver is taking an unexpected approach: lowering prices.
Effective immediately, the locally owned escape room company has reduced its standard ticket price to $35 per person, making it the lowest regular admission price the company has offered since 2020.
The decision comes at a time when many entertainment venues are increasing prices to offset higher operating expenses. Instead, EscapeWorks says it wants to ensure memorable experiences remain accessible to families, friends, coworkers, and visitors looking for affordable ways to spend time together.

“Right now, people are being forced to make harder choices with their spending,” said Stephanie Lewis, Director of Operations at EscapeWorks Denver. “We know people still want to make memories together, but budgets matter more than ever. Instead of following the trend of raising prices, we wanted to move in the opposite direction.”
The price reduction extends beyond standard admission. Weekday promotional pricing now starts at $30 per person, while corporate team-building events and large group bookings also begin at $30 per person. Returning guests can save even more by booking another adventure before leaving, with return visit rates starting at $18 per person on weekdays and $24 per person on weekends.
The only exception is Ghostlight Lounge, EscapeWorks’ newest premium escape room experience, which will remain $38 per person due to its larger production value, immersive environment, and advanced gameplay.

According to company leadership, the pricing changes reflect EscapeWorks’ long-standing commitment to providing high-quality entertainment that remains affordable, even during periods of economic uncertainty.
Founded in 2015, EscapeWorks Denver has become one of Colorado’s premier escape room destinations, operating two downtown Denver locations and offering multiple award-winning immersive experiences. As the company continues to grow, leadership says listening to guests remains central to its mission.
“We’re always listening,” Lewis added. “This is our way of responding—not by asking guests to pay more, but by making it easier for more people to walk through our doors.”
The new pricing is available immediately for all new bookings.
