Osees

When: Sept. 10, 8 p.m. Where: The Ogden Theatre, Cost: $45.57 The Lowdown: 

Osees have gone through a few name changes throughout the years, including Orinoka Crash Suite, OCS, Orange County Sound, The Ohsees and Thee Oh Sees. While it originated as John Dwyer’s solo project, it quickly developed into a full garage rock band. DMBQ will open.

Maná

When: Sept. 11, 8:30 p.m. Where: Red Rocks Amphitheatre, 18300 W. Alameda Pkwy., Morrison, CO Cost: $244+ The Lowdown: 

Maná is a Mexican pop rock band that includes Fher Olvera (vocals, guitar), Alex González (drums), Sergio Vallín (guitar) and Juan Calleros (bass). They’re last album is 2025’s Noche De Cantina. The Red Rocks show will feature special guest Vivir Sin Aire.

Arc de Soleil

When: Sept. 12, 8 p.m. Where: Gothic Theatre, 3263 S. Broadway, Englewood, CO Cost: $50.52 The Lowdown: 

Arc De Soleil is the project of multi-instrumentalist Daniel Kadawatha. He makes music that draws on funk rhythms and contemporary sounds to make his own unique creation, blended with string instruments and beats. He comes to Gothic Theatre as part of La Mirage Tour.

MARINA

When: Sept. 13, 7 p.m. Where: The Fillmore Auditorium, 1510 Clarkson St., Denver, CO Cost: $66+ The Lowdown: 

Many know Marina as Marina and the Diamonds. She officially dropped “and the Diamonds” in 2019 with the release of album LOVE + FEAR, in effort to move past her previous persona. She is currently touring her new album PRINCESS OF POWER with support from hip hop duo Coco & Clair Clair.

Father John Misty

Josh Tillman has been creating music since 2001. In 2012, he adopted the Father John Misty moniker, for which he has six studio albums under, including most recently, Mahashmashana (2024). Cut Worms will open.

Burrata & Mozzarella Cheese Making Class

When: Sept. 10, 5:30 p.m. Where: The Truffle Cheese Shop, 2906 E. 6th Ave., Denver, CO Cost: $60 The Lowdown: 

Join in on this educational experience where you will receive a brief introduction into cheese and cheese making, in addition to a hands-on tutorial from expert cheesemongers. Each participant will be provided with all necessary materials and make one mozzarella and one burrata to take home.

Rainforest Dinner

Spirit of Japan

Spirit of Japan celebrates the cultural heritage of Japan through authentic Japanese food stalls, from Yakitori and Takoyaki to shaved ice (Kakigori). The festival will also offer a variety of premium Sake/spirits options.

Colorado Wine Walk

When: Sept. 13, 7 – 10 p.m. Where: Dairy Block, 1800 Wazee St., Denver, CO Cost: $55 – $100 The Lowdown: 

The Colorado Wine Walk returns for a summer session with Blanchard Family Wines hosting. The Dairy Block Alley will be transformed into an immersive tasting experience for the final Colorado Wine Walk of 2025 with unlimited samples from the state’s finest wineries and cideries, served in a commemorative glass.

Colorado’s Taste of Ethiopia Festival

Taste of Ethiopia celebrates the heritage of Ethiopia with a strong focus on health equity and culturally rooted care. This event marks the 11th Annual Taste of Ethiopia Festival, providing. Denverites with the opportunity to feast on Ethiopian cuisine like injera, doro wot, misir wot, sambusa and buna.

The Denver Gem Show

This 10-day event showcases beautiful minerals, fossils, gems and jewelry items. “This event is a treasure trove for anyone passionate about earth sciences,” according to The Denver Gem Show.

ColorFall

When: Sept. 11 – Oct. 5 Where: D’art Gallery, 900 Santa Fe Dr., Denver, CO Cost: Free The Lowdown: 

For ColorFall, ten artists with distinct styles will be exhibiting their work for sale. Their works will be a variety of mediums like watercolors, pen and ink, acrylic and oil through styles of plein air, Chinese calligraphy, impressionistic and abstract.

The Opening Reception for ColorFall is on Sept. 12.

Denver Silent Film Festival

When: Sept. 12 – 14 Where: Sie FilmCenter, 2510 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO Cost: $85 Non Member, $75 Denver Film Member The Lowdown: 

The annual Denver Silent Film Festival returns, where silent-era films will be presented on the big screen with live musical performances. On Friday, The Black Pirate will be played, followed by various showings throughout the weekend.

Traitors Denver

Denver’s top comedians will improvise as if they are playing the social deduction game adapted for TV, The Traitors. “The Traitors” will lie, manipulate and murder the “Faithful,” while the Faithful attempt to discover who the Traitors are and banish them.

African Creators Festival Curious Sunday Soirée

When: Sept. 14, 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Where: 1424 Larimer St., Denver, CO Cost: $40 – $1,500 The Lowdown: 

The African Creators Festival 2025 will weave together fashion, food, art and music with a multi-course feast of African flavors by James Beard Award nominee Althea Brown and Afrocentric chef Kabongo, a fashion showcase featuring handmade pieces from African designers and a marketplace featuring African-made items from homegoods to accessories.
