15 Things To Do in Denver This Weekend 8/6 – 8/10

This highly anticipated inaugural event will take place amidst the stunning scenery of Aspen and will feature four distinct runway shows. In addition to the main shows, there will also be various fashion pop-up events happening around Aspen, offering a chance to experience and engage with fashion in different settings.

We are thrilled to announce the Aspen Fashion Week Local Runway Show taking place this August. This event will launch the lineup of runway events and underscore our strong commitment and passion for Aspen’s vibrant local fashion community.

The Aspen Fashion Week Global runway show will showcase a curated selection of top brands from both Aspen and around the globe. Set outside against Aspen’s stunning natural scenery, this inaugural event will gather leading figures in the fashion industry, including designers, influencers and enthusiasts.

The Aspen Fashion Week YOUTH + MOMMY & ME runway show will showcase top brands from both Aspen and around the state.

The Aspen Fashion Week APRÈS runway show will be the grand finale to all of our runway of the week, featuring collections from the finest local brands from Aspen, bringing together key individuals within the fashion world. This particular show will highlight our dedication to and love for Aspen’s unique and energetic APRÈS fashion scene.

Jamie xx is the solo project of English musician and DJ James Thomas Smith, previously known for his work in the indie pop band the xx, and he is joined by DJ Koze, a German DJ, producer and remixer. They will also have special guest SEES00000.

Dispatch is heading on their summer tour with special guests Donavon Frankenreiter and Illiterate Light. Dispatch is an indie/roots band including Brad Corrigan (vocals, drums, guitar, percussion, harmonica) and Chad Urmston (vocals, guitar, bass, percussion). This year, they released Yellow Jackets.

The Architects are a metalcore band from England, formed in 2004. The band originally started with twin brothers Dan and Tom Searle and now consists of Dan Searle (drums), Sam Carter (vocals), Alex Dean (bass) and Adam Christianson (guitar). This year, the band released album The Sky, The Earth & All Between. Special guests Erra and Holywatr will join.

The alternative dance group Rüfüs Du Sol, from Sydney, Australia, are in town for the Inhale / Exhale World Tour with opener Glass Beams. The band has been together since 2010. In 2024, they released Inhale / Exhale, followed by 2025’s Inhale / Exhale Remixed, Vol. 1 and Inhale / Exhale Remixed, Vol. 2.

For the God Is A Weapon Tour, rock band Falling in Reverse makes a stop at Fiddler’s Green with support from Wage War, Tech N9ne and Sleep Theory. Their latest album is 2024’s Popular Monster.

Bib & Tucker Bourbon are from Tennessee, and they’ve created a new bourbon, the Gold Roast, infused with coffee beans. Being from Nashville, this bourbon tasting event wouldn’t be complete without some Nashville Hot Chicken on site as well.

Take a trip into the mountains this weekend to sip on wines from over 100+ wineries at the Grand Tastings. There will be seminars hosted by winemakers and sommeliers, paired dinners and lunches, lifestyle events, a bubble bar, live music, valley views and more.

Joyful Life Bakery’s handcrafted cheesecakes will be brought to Left Hand Brewing for an evening filled with curated beer and cocktail pairings. There will be four unique cheesecake flavors, like classic, lime, honey and pecan.

The Colorado Beef Festival is a cook-off where local chefs partner with multi-generational ranching families to turn premium cuts into culinary masterpieces like slow-smoked brisket and seared ribeyes. Experts can guide attendees through pairing their favorite cuts with craft beverages.

While the Savannah Bananas are in town playing at Coors Field, Kachina Cantina is offering their Xoco Taco in the form of a Bananas Foster with a waffle cookie, peanut butter chocolate topping and bananas foster ice cream center.
