Yellow Country Car Wine Tasting
Husband and wife Jean and Jim Wooton of Yellow Car Country Wines started making small-batch fruit wines in 2016, and now, almost ten years later, they’re bringing their craft wines to Aspen to celebrate the first-ever Aspen Fashion Week at three complimentary pop-up wine tastings.
To kick off the weekend, Yellow Car Country Wines is offering complimentary wine tasting at the opening night of MEUSE Gallery‘s “Please Let Me Explain” exhibition. Taking place from 5-8 pm on August 7th, Please Let Me Explain is a joint exhibition featuring Bekah Bull, a renowned figure in the Aspen art scene, and Kurz, who is making his highly anticipated Aspen debut. At the opening of this dual exhibition, guests can connect with both artists while sampling Yellow Car Country wines and exploring how Bull and Kurz are taking up Charles Bukowski’s directive to “go all the way.”
If you miss the kickoff event, Yellow Car Country Wines is hosting a second complimentary wine tasting on Friday, August 8 at 1-3 pm at Kemo Sabe. Since its beginnings as a small 400-square-foot space in Snowmass Village, Kemo Sabe has grown into one of the most iconic storefronts in the country. Now, the store has now flourished into a Western retail empire with seven locations in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Texas and Montana — and Kemo Sabe is presenting two collections during Aspen Fashion Week. Guests can explore the trademark Kemo Sabe vibes, sample small-batch wines from Cortez, Colorado and meet the passionate owners behind Yellow Car Country Wines.

To close out their pop-ups, Yellow Car Country Wines is hosting a complimentary wine tasting aon August 9 at ZIGZAG Aspen. This wine tasting will take place during ZIGZAG’s brunch special from 11 am-1 pm and will feature a live DJ to round out the event.

Ro + Fern isn’t just showing a collection on Aspen Fashion Week’s Youth + Mommy & Me runway — they’re kicking off the week with a storewide discount and free sweet treats.
