This Week In Concerts — Widespread Panic, May Be Fern, Charley Crockett, Questshun and More

Widespread Panic

It’s been Pride Month all month, but we’re really capping off the celebration in Denver this weekend with some of the strongest shows and events thus far! In between all the rowdy rainbow-colored shenanigans, here are some of the concert highlights:

Southern jam-rock royalty Widespread Panic have come back north to grace Red Rocks Amphitheater for yet another amazing three-night run on 6/27, 6/28 and 6/29. Longstanding members of the jam band scene, and holding a bona fide world record for most consecutive sold-out shows at the world’s most beautiful venue at 72, make sure you snag tickets to keep the run going.

Speaking of three-night runs, local indie-funk-rock rippers May Be Fern will be bringing the party to a variety of Pride events all across Denver this week. Starting on 6/27, they’ll be kicking off the Larimer Square Pride weekend at a bangin’ block party also featuring Alysia Kraft and DOGTAGS. on 6/28, May Be Fern will be featuring at the HCO Pride Party at Number 38 alongside acts like Chloe Star and Erin Stereo. And on 6/29, the party don’t stop—Indie 102.3 is putting on an unofficial Pride afterparty at the Hi-Dive that’ll feature May Be Fern alongside Church Fire, YAN YEZ and Mr. Knobs. Make sure you catch at least one of these excellent shows!

One of the strongest songwriters present in music today, the incredible Charley Crockett will be lighting up Red Rocks on 6/25, and he’s brought both Chaparelle and Rattlesnake Milk along for the ride too. Pulling from an astounding 15 studio albums released in just the past 10 years, this concert promises to have something for absolutely everyone.
