This Week In Concerts — Goose, Death From Above 1979, Big Country, Eliza & The Delusionals and More

Goose

It’s the first week of June and that means it’s the first week of Pride Month! In between all the fabulous events available to show love to all of our LGBTQIA+ homies, we’ve got some excellent shows coming up. Here are some of the highlights:

The latest torch-bearers of the jam band scene are back in town! Goose is returning to Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater for a two-night stand on 6/6 and 6/7. Touring in support of their latest studio release Everything Must Go as a freshly pared-down foursome, these shows are sure to be full of fresh jams, long-lost bust-outs, and surprise new tunes and covers. Make sure to get your Goose on this weekend!

Meow Wolf is about to be properly out of this world come 6/7, as they’re bringing the magical world of Danceportation back all night long. Curated by What So Not and featuring acts like Elohim, Chet Porter, Lizzy Jane and many more, Danceportation will have performances spanning the length and breadth of Convergence Station. Get here to get weird come Saturday!

Just because it’s a Sunday night doesn’t mean you can’t get your headbangin’ on, and thankfully this particular Sunday (6/8) sees none other than legendary indie-rock two-piece Death From Above 1979 return to wreak havoc at the Ogden Theater. Colfax Speed Queen will be on hand to make sure no neck is safe from the first note played. Don’t you dare miss this one!
