Happy National Burger Day! Denver is dishing up a delicious week of food-related festivities — from sweet-and-strong pairings at the 12th Annual Whiskey and Doughnuts, fiery flavors at the Rocky Mountain Chili Showdown, to cool treats at the City Park Day Ice Cream Social.

Farmfest Music Evening: Chain Station
This is the first week of Summer Music Evenings at Sunflower Farm. Local bluegrass band Chain Station will perform with a food truck on site. All animals and regular Farmfest activities will be open as well.

Dope Lemon
Angus Stone goes by Dope Lemon in his Australian indie rock act. He also records with his sister in folk duo Angus & Julia Stone. Just this May, Dope Lemon released his new album Golden Wolf. He is joined by The Palms.

Ganja White Night
Ganja White Night, Belgian bass duo made of Benjamin Bayeul and Charlie Dodson, returns to Denver for two shows — one at Mission Ballroom, the other at Red Rocks. They will have special guests Smoakland, Xotix, Stylust Beats and Myrias as openers.

Yacht Rock Revue
Yacht Rock Revue is a 10-piece band that has been together since 2007. In November of last year, the band released 21-track album Escape Artist. Get outside this weekend and head to Fiddler’s Green for the show.

Peach Pit & Briston Maroney
Briston Maroney embarks on the Long Hair, Long Life Tour with Peach Pit and support from BNNY. Maroney makes folk/rock music. This year, he released Jimmy and Peach Pit released Magpie (Expansion Pack).

National Burger Day
National Burger Day is not taken lightly in Denver. Stop by an array of restaurants for their take on a burger, whether it’s classic or over-the-top, including The Cherry Cricket, Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval, Wynkoop Brewing Co., Breckenridge Brewery Ale and Gamehouse, Phanton Canyon Brewing Co., Ambler and more.

A Spirits Dinner with Panzano
This curated five-course dining experience is paired with handcrafted Spirit Hound spirits. Panzano’s food is a modern interpretation of Northern Italian cuisine and emphasizes local, seasonal and organic ingredients.

Over Yonder Brewing’s 6th Anniversary Weekend
Celebrate six years of Over Yonder with live music, small batch and special craft releases, the Golden outdoors, food and community. The Stellar Jays will be providing Phish and Grateful Dead-like inspired jams on Friday and Parky Jobbins will continue the party Saturday.

12th Annual Whiskey + Doughnuts
LaMar’s Donuts and Coffee present the 12th Annual Whiskey and Doughnuts Showdown. Distilleries from all across the front range are teaming up to provide a great time for Denverites. There will be a cocktail competition to judge, whiskey and doughnuts to sample and a commemorative rocks glass to take home (if VIP).

Rocky Mountain Chili Showdown
Rocky Mountain Texas Exes is partnering with Call to Arms Brewery for the very first Chili Showdown. Guests may taste, vote and compete in a battle of chili and cornbread flavors while indulging in buy-one-get-one beers.

Legacies: Invertebrates of Mexico
This exhibit of live animals, a monarch tree, sensory elements, live feeding displays and interactive educational activities is just getting started. It also acknowledges Mexico’s Indigenous people’s diversity and their lasting impact on Mexico and the world.

City Park Day
Spend some time with community, free ice cream, music from the Denver Civic Band, get your face painted and more. The theme this year embraces City Park’s Victorian roots — Victorian dress is encouraged.

Troutfest Colorado 2025
The Colorado Wildlife Council and the Colorado Lottery are presenting Troutfest Colorado for a day at the ballpark where guests can see exhibitors, casting areas, youth activities, fly-tying, music, stadium tours and have some food and drinks. This family-friendly event is a great chance to experience fly-fishing and river conservation.

Pride Self-Portrait Plates
During this handbuilding workshop, guests will craft a sculptural self-portrait plate with guidance from the instructor, Sydney. All skill levels are welcome to come into this welcoming space and create a piece that sparks joy, like an incense burner, jewelry holder or something else.
