It’s yet another beautiful week here in Denver, and yet another bangin’ round of shows are up. Here’s some highlights, in rare chronological order:
Denver’s own Owie is bringing his new curated Space Jam to Club Vinyl on 5/16. After an incredibly successful warehouse debut, Owie is bringing it to Broadway for a late night 360-degree party. Gio Lucca is set to headline, while Owie will be taking the decks in a B2B with GS5, and Free WiFi will be getting the vibes set just so to start things off. If you missed the first Space Jam make sure you make it to Vinyl on Friday!
Another excellent local act that’s fresh to the scene and already making waves, The Dead Yetis are down with a headlining set at Larimer Lounge on 5/17, and they’ve got some serious support from Break Balance and WiJi MoMa to get it ragin’ right away. Chances are you won’t be seeing these gents at venues this intimate for very long, so get those tickets while they’re hot!
And to top the weekend off (because Sunday scaries are for nerds), the legendary German producer Purple Disco Machine is closing out his North America tour with a massive Red Rocks set on 5/18. Not only has he brought his full Paradise band with him, but he’s got sets with none other than Chromeo, Roosevelt and Kiinjo to ensure the party never stops. Don’t be a dork come Sunday—this is the spot to be!
