Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend, and there’s no better way to celebrate your wonderful mother than with a great concert—here are some of your best bets:
SKRILLEX IS RETURNING TO RED ROCKS ON TUESDAY 5/13. Like, what more is there to say? The world-renowned dubstep daddy has set up another marathon five-hour set at the Rocks, coming back after his simply insane set in 2023. For anyone who’s listened to EDM in the past decade, there’s just nowhere else to be this coming Tuesday.
Celebrating the release of their debut album Things Of That Nature, the new Denver supergroup Nitecap is getting ready to get down at Cervantes’ Other Side on 5/9. Featuring Adam Deitch (of Lettuce), Josh Fairman (of Sunsquabi), and Ian Gilley and Drew Birch (of Flamingosis), this is a show guaranteed to be a banger. They’ll have Halle Tomlinson and Mikey Thunder on deck too, so don’t miss this one!
Legendary Grammy-nominated Australian producer Dom Dolla is bringing his mustache to our own Civic Center Park for a wild two-night takeover on 5/9 and 5/10. For Friday’s event he’ll have AYYBO, Girl Math (VNSSA b2b Nala) and Erez, and Saturday’s show will see Cassian, another bangin’ Girl Math set, and Option4 tearing up our state government’s front lawn. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!
