Farm & Market Brings the Urban Farm to the Table in Only Five Feet

At the intersection of Larimer and 24th Streets, you’ll find an inviting and
unexpected first-of-its-kind concept. A large indoor farm.
That’s also an award-winning restaurant.

Within the confines of a quirky 1938 building at the gateway to RiNo, Farm & Market
offers an award-winning dining option while simultaneously challenging the conventions
of traditional farming.
The redesigned space dedicates half of the building to a hydroponic farm where
sustainable practices reign supreme. The farm and its 1100 vertical grow towers use
90% less water than traditional farming and are 100% chemical free. Largely beyond
organic. The harvested produce travels only five feet, literally, to the beautifully
designed restaurant that occupies the other half of the building. Without the need to
truck its produce, the farm is proud to boast zero carbon emissions.

The artificial grow lights are powered by wind energy, an added expense but important to the mission.
The secret sauce is the Daily Harvest. Farm & Market has developed a system for
planting, growing, and harvesting a fraction of each of its two dozen crops every day.
The farm harvests over 100 pounds of produce each day, 365 days a year. It is believed
that Farm & Market has the only farm in the U.S., and maybe the world, that can harvest
daily. This noteworthy accomplishment allows the farm’s produce to be eaten the day it
is harvested, delivering 100% nutrition and flavor. By comparison, produce in grocery
stores and most restaurants is over 7 days old and has lost 50% of its nutrition by the
time it reaches your fork.

In the restaurant, culinary excellence is the order of the day. Farm-forward fine dining
flavor in a casual setting has Denver taking notice. The restaurant runs a scratch
kitchen, and its salads, handhelds, and soup focused menu has won 5 culinary awards,
including Denver’s Top 100 Restaurants 2025. The farm is encased in glass, providing
a unique dining experience with transparency of how the farm operates and where the
menu comes from.

Davis Breedlove, Founder, shares that “Farm & Market is what food should be. Fresh,
nutritious, culinary, local, and affordable. With most meals under $15.00, we feel like we
are on a mission to redefine everyday eating.”
