It might be a little on the chilly side this week, but at least we’ll all be warm as we blaze up for Colorado’s favorite federally-forbidden holiday! Here are some of the hot highlights for concerts to celebrate with:
Denver-based funk legends The Motet are gracing the stage once again this weekend, bringing all the boogie the Ogden Theatre can possibly handle on 4/19! As if that wasn’t enough danger to dancing shoes all around the Mile High metro, the aptly named Cool Cool Cool will be bringing some properly hot grooves in for the evening as well. Don’t miss this one!
Speaking of fiery hot tunes, glitch-hop genius Liquid Stranger is about to rattle the whole of RiNo this weekend as he brings a massive three-night run to the Mission Ballroom from 4/18 to 4/20. Friday sees Chmura, Rohaan, Yoko, Crawdad Sniper and Low Tyde joining in on the party, Saturday gets you Shlump, Stellar, Capochino, Canvas and BuckTen sharing the decks, and Sunday will bring the blazin’ Jantsen, Sully, Hostage Situation, Blurred Vzn and Chozen.
The most fitting of Red Rocks headliners for our favorite holiday returns! None other than Wiz Khalifa will be taking the stage on 4/20 to bring a certifiably incredible show, and he’s tagged in an equally incredible crew including Larry June, Ab-Soul, Chevy Woods and DJ Bonics to start your Sunday evening off correctly.
