The End of WNTR Series Brings Together Colorado’s Best Chefs for a Range of Good Causes

The Lowdown: The End of WNTR Series is bringing together some of Denver’s best chefs – Jim Pittenger, Biker Jim’s; James Doxon, Vibe Concepts + Tstreet; Demetric Jones, Tstreet; and Paul Anders, Sweet Basil – for four nights of memorable dinners. Each dinner is unique in its dishes with five courses from three of the five chefs under a unified theme. The last dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 with updated event info here.

The Lowdown: This Food Prevention Week, join Odell Brewing and We Don’t Waste for its “Wheat Don’t Waste Ale” Bread to Beer Tapping Party on Friday, April 5. We Don’t Waste began in 2009 by Arlan Preblud with one mission in mind, connecting the community with food access while protecting the planet. In honor of its mission, Odell Brewing, in collaboration with Rebel Bread has brewed “Wheat Don’t Waste Ale,” using leftover sourdough from Rebel’s bakery representing just a fraction of the surplus food recovered locally by We Don’t Waste. The event is free to the public to enjoy some good brews, learn about We Don’t Waste, play food-themed games and learn how you can take action in the fight against food waste.
