Denver Fashion Week Awards: Vote For Model, Designer, and Artist of the Year

Denver Fashion Week Emerging Designer Challenge Fashion Show

When: March 22, 8:30 p.m. Where: The Jacquard, Autograph Collection in Cherry Creek, 222 Milwaukee St., Denver, CO Cost: $22.60 – $45+ The Lowdown: 

Two designers will be selected to present their collections in the upcoming DFW Spring ’25 season (May 10-18). These designers will be chosen by a panel of judges, including two Denver Fashion Week lead producers and local designers, as well as those in attendance who can also vote.

JoJo is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She has released six studio albums and three EPs. Her latest release is 2025 EP NGL. She’s coming to The Ogden Theatre for the Too Much To Say Tour with Emmy Meli.

North Mississippi Allstars

When: March 13, 8 p.m. Where:  The Gothic Theatre, 3263 S. Broadway Englewood, CO Cost: $39.39 The Lowdown: 

The North Mississippi Allstars started their band in 1996. The blues and southern rock group’s latest release is 2022’s Set Sail. They are joined by Jontavious Willis.

Timecop1983

When: March 14, 8 p.m. Where: The Bluebird Theater, 3317 E. Colfax Ave., 3F, Denver, CO Cost: $37.59 The Lowdown: 

Timecop1983 is a Dutch musician whose latest album release is Searching for Tomorrow (2023). He is known for his production of synthwave music. Droid Bishop and Dr3maca$t will open.

Flipturn

When: March 15, 8 p.m. Where: The Mission Ballroom, 4242 Wynkoop St., Denver, CO Cost: $62.28 The Lowdown: 

Flipturn consists of Dillon Basse, Tristan Duncan, Mitch Fountain, Madeline Jarman and Devon VonBalson. The American indie rock band is at The Mission Ballroom for The Burnout Days Tour with Krooked Kings.

Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas

When: March 16, 7 p.m. Where: Swallow Hill Music, 71 E. Yale Ave., Denver, CO Cost: $40.13 The Lowdown: 

“The Michael Jordan of Scottish fiddling,” and Californian virtuoso cellist Natalie Haas join together at Swallow Hill. Together, the two have toured for over twenty-five years and released six albums.

Women Winemaker Wednesdays

This monthly gathering celebrates the artistry and expertise of female winemakers. It is a tasting event where guests are invited to try wines while hearing the stories behind the bottle. There will also be a selection of small charcuterie bites.

Shamrock The Block

When: March 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Where: Dairy Block, 1800 Wazee, Denver, CO Cost: Free The Lowdown: 

From 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., the Block will be filled with Celtic-inspired live music. There will also be St. Patrick’s Day glitter tattoos, pop-up bars from Deviation Distilling, Blanchard Family Wines and Poka Lola Social Club, as well as free swag. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade will pass by Dairy Block between 18th and 19th Street.

Frozen Dead Guy Weekend: Bands and Bloodys Brunch

Several different locations are hosting local bands like Night Owl, Greg Miles, Jingle Jangle Jabroni, Jason Lenz, Torae and DJ’s & PJ’s. While listening, drink a Bloody Mary, Mimosa or Beermosa, indulge in a Breakfast buffet, full bar and more.

Laugh Your Craft Off: Yarn Wall Hangings

Moonlight Yoga & Meditation

Ex Post Facto – 20 Years of Finley Art Open Reception

Colorado based artist Joshua Finley’s exhibit “Ex Post Facto – 20 Years of Finley Art” opens with a reception this Friday evening. It is a collection of his work from the past two decades with illustrations and paintings, including his “Re-arted” Thrift Store Series Toys and Paintings, Cartoon Westerns, Jungle Tech, Gig Posters and the latest Kansas Cloudscape on canvas.

Glowing Wild

When: March 13 – 31, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Where: Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance, 2300 Steele St., Denver, CO Cost: $19 – $26 The Lowdown: 

This is an all-new immersive lantern experience. The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance have created 60 scenes made of 145 lanterns featuring flora and fauna from across teh world.
