Winter usually outdoor concerts on hold for the season, but every year, Red Rocks opens for one chilly night of funky music, braving the cold amidst the Colorado temps. Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks is set to return on Saturday, March 8, 2025, for its 13th annual celebration, whether it’s rain, snow or shine. Set in one of the world’s most iconic venues with the chance of any weather, Winter on the Rocks is set to be a unique event, unlike any other throughout the regular season.

With his signature blend of funky beats and electronic sounds, Gramatik, the Slovenian electronic artist, will take the stage as this year’s headliner. You can likely expect a timeless blend of all eras of his music, along with fresh new hits from his latest album release, Aequoreous. He specializes in delivering high-energy sets, perfect to get the dance party going and to keep warm against the cold.
Alongside Gramatik, we can look forward to performances by Zingara, The Funk Hunters ft. Chali 2na and The Sponges. This eclectic mix of artists boasts an exciting night on the rocks with promises of bass-heavy grooves, hip-hop rhythms and experimental electronic beats.
Zingara, a producer and DJ from Maryland, delivers powerful electronic beats infused with hypnotic energy. Her music reflects her deep connection to the spiritual world, translating it into a uniquely immersive sound and an overall body experience.

Adding to the night’s electrifying atmosphere, The Funk Hunters, an innovative Canadian duo, blend old-school funk, soul, and hip-hop influences with cutting-edge electronic production. Hailing from Canada, Nick Middleton and Duncan Smith have crafted a signature sound that pushes genre boundaries, blending their love for bass music and funk. Joining them on stage is American Rapper Chali 2na, with his quick-delivery lyricism and infectious hip-hop groove, adding an exciting touch to the night.
The Sponges are a dance music duo from Florida, known for their fusion of 70s funk, disco, and bass, all lending to the creation of a psychedelic sound designed for dancing. Their music is all about high-energy grooves and irresistible rhythms that keep the crowd moving, especially in the winter chill.
