Denver Fashion Week Emerging Designer Challenge Fashion Show

When: March 22, 8:30 p.m. Where: The Jacquard, Autograph Collection in Cherry Creek, 222 Milwaukee St., Denver, CO Cost: $22.60 – $45+ The Lowdown: 

Two designers will be selected to present their collections in the upcoming DFW Spring ’25 season (May 10-18). These designers will be chosen by a panel of judges, including two Denver Fashion Week lead producers and local designers, as well as those in attendance who can also vote.

Afroman

When: Feb. 26, 9 p.m. Where: Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, 1215 20th St., Denver, CO Cost: $222+ The Lowdown: 

Afroman is bringing a show to Ophelia’s this evening. Swing by for a chance to hear some of his hits like “Because I Got High.” He released a new song Feb. 5 with Bankboi Money called “Another.”

Disturbed

When: Feb. 27, 6:30 p.m. Where: Ball Arena, 1000 Chopper Cir., Denver, CO Cost: $63+ The Lowdown: 

Are you “Down with the Sickness”? Disturbed is embarking on The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour. On March 7, the band is releasing their 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of The Sickness. Three Days Grace and Sevendust will open.

MJ Lenderman & The Wind

When: Feb. 28, 9 p.m. Where: The Bluebird Theater, 3317 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO Cost: $136+ The Lowdown: 

MJ Lenderman is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Asheville, North Carolina. In 2024, Lenderman released Manning Fireworks, as his solo career takes off and he breaks away from band Wednesday. Indie rock band Wild Pink will open.

Finneas

While Finneas splits much of his time songwriting and producing with sister Billie Eilish and many other big-name artists, he also has a solo career he is harnessing. In 2024, he released For Cryin’ Out Loud! of which he is now touring, with a stop at The Fillmore.

Lettuce with The Colorado Symphony

When: March 2, 7 p.m. Where: Mission Ballroom, 4242 Wynkoop St., Denver, CO Cost: $66 – $96 The Lowdown: 

Lettuce, a funk band hailing from Boston, is joined by The Colorado Symphony for another special performance. The musical blend that fuses Lettuce and The Symphony has long proved to be impressive and beautiful (since 2018). This is a show you won’t want to miss.

Wine and Cookie Pairing

Who doesn’t love a unique pairing? This event will feature a CA Petite Syrah, Black Raspberry Merlot, Blush, and a 2023 WA Pinot Gris paired with a chocolate chunk cookie, raspberry macaron, lemon cookie and pistachio macaron, respectively.

In-Person Class: Handmade Gnocchi

The Murder Mystery Co’s Dinner Theater Show

Mean Girls

BANFF Mountain Film Festival – Granite Series

Makers Market at Park Meadows Grand Opening

7th Annual Petite Parade

When: March 2, 12 – 2 p.m. Where: Dairy Block, 1800 Wazee St., Denver, CO Cost: Free The Lowdown: 

All are invited to “laissez les bons temps rouler” by building a tiny and creative float with a shoebox base and wheels. Bonus points are awarded for team costumes and miniature parade “throws.” Floats will be awarded based on several categories including Most Original Float, Best Team Theme and more. Denver’s Handsome Little Devils will provide entertainment, along with live music.
