Sacred Society, located in the Highlands neighborhood, is Denver’s newest wellness oasis featuring a mélange of healing services and experiences that aim to heal the mind, body and soul with innovative services, state-of-the-art wellness technologies and intentionally nourishing foods.

Sacred Society isn’t your typical wellness center as it’s more of a sanctuary for cultivating inner peace, balance and connection through an intimate space focused on intentional healing the whole self.
When conceptualizing Sacred Society, founders Barbie Beltran and Jose Guerrero aimed to create a space unlike any other in Denver. Beltran, an advocate for holistic wellness, drew from her entrepreneurial journey, indigenous roots and passion for mental health to inspire Sacred Society.
“We envisioned a space that merges personal growth with modern wellness technology while fostering community,” said Beltran. “Our focus is to help guests achieve mindfulness and self-discovery with innovative, supportive tools.”
At its heart, Sacred Society is designed to be your personal sanctuary for self-discovery and personal growth, featuring state-of-the-art technologies and unique experiences that guide you into states of relaxation and introspection. Even intentional design aspects like lush green plants filling the air, gigantic geodes and other natural design elements, create a sacred space that amplifies your well-being with every detail.

Complementing the space is the Sacred Society Music Group, the retreat’s in-house record label, which produces ambient soundscapes to accompany the wellness journey. During your experience, you’ll enjoy these compositions throughout the space as well as on the go via streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
Heal your mind, body and soul
Addressing the well-being of your mind, body AND soul, you’ll find Sacred Society’s different modalities and classes go far beyond your typical yoga session or massage therapy. It’s where wellness innovation meets the intention to create an experience that is both healing and transformative. You’ll find some methods are meant to attune to your mental health, while others address physical healing and other modes that feed your soul.
Re-calibrate your mental state with an out-of-this-world full sensory meditation where you immerse yourself in a meditative sensory journey inside a Sensiks Virtual Reality (VR) pod. With your five senses stimulated, a 15-minute session inside the VR pod transports you to a world of relaxation, mindfulness and balance using visuals and sounds meant to enhance focus, mental clarity and sense of calm.

If you want to address physical issues, sign up for a 20-minute session in the Photobiomodulation Therapy capsule. The non-invasive modality harnesses advanced red-light therapy to reduce inflammation, boost collagen and accelerate healing. Your session is amplified with original music by the Sacred Society Music Group, while the vibroacoustic therapy bed uses synchronized vibrations to reduce stress hormones, ease muscle tension and enhance circulation.

For group classes and meditations, relax and unwind in the Zen Garden. Used for sound journeys, guided meditations and breath work classes, the multisensory meditation space features Dolby ATMOS spatial audio, delivering an immersive sound experience that amplifies your meditation, breathwork and relaxation practices. All you have to do is show up, lay down, cuddle up with a blanket and eye mask and let the healing journey begin.

If you prefer a more individual approach along your sound journey, try a 30-minute Vibroacoustic Therapy session during which gentle sound waves and vibrations are used to promote relaxation, reduce stress and support physical and emotional balance. Featuring the same musical set up as the Zen Garden, this therapy immerses you in rich, multidimensional sound, harmonizing the mind and body through carefully calibrated frequencies that are designed for a calming and restorative experience tailored to your wellness journey.

Whether you are familiar with these different classes and modalities or have never heard of photobiomodulation or vibroacoustic therapy before, Sacred Society did a great job in creating a space that welcomes everyone, no matter where you are on your healing journey. And the best part, none of the prices are scary enough to discourage those new to these wellness modalities.
Sacred Society rounds out your wellness journey with its on-site cafe featuring a thoughtful menu of fresh salads, grain bowls, juices and non-alcoholic drinks.
