Cheers to New Sips – What We Tried at CDC Bev Fest 2025

13 years ago, Jennifer DeGraff – Director of Marketing at Coors Distributing Company – set out to bridge the gap between industry professionals, beverage enthusiasts and product awareness. Her vision led to the creation of the annual CDC Bev Fest – an event that has grown into a beloved tradition celebrating the rich brewing heritage of the region. On February 24, CDC Bev Fest 2025 took over Mile High Station, showcasing over 30 vendors with a wide range of beers, from classic favorites to innovative new brews, along with seltzers, canned cocktails, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks and beyond.

From speaking with Jennifer at the event, she comments, “This really is an opportunity for us to showcase all of our partners who are your brewers, club owners, etc., to come together in one place and have people try their drinks.” Coors has been distributing around Denver since 1971 and currently distributes products from over 31 breweries – from Asahi to White Claw to Zoa and more. “At the end of the day, this is a great community and we want people to know that,” continues DeGraff. The event not only showed community support for brewers but also beyond. A silent auction benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was a big player at the event and included prizes ranging from a mini statue of Snoop Dogg to a pair of skis to onesies.

Here’s our guide to what we tried at CDC Bev Fest 2025 and what you can look forward to seeing in a store, if not soon.

For its 30th anniversary, its releasing The Legend, an “Olde/ Strong Ale” that’s been aged in a mine shaft (yes, we saw the photos of the barrels getting taken out of the mine). Woody, malty and medium-bodied, The Legend represents Tommyknocker’s continued commitment to quality brewing.

Its green apple flavor was surprisingly delicious and heads to stores soon.

White Claw
