Men’s Guide To Glowing Up In 2025

Men! We love you, we hate you, we’re manifesting you…and we need you to get your style checked ASAP.

Especially in Denver, men’s fashion can get stuck in a rut of what is most comfortable to wear to Coors Field to catch a losing game (kidding, Rockies) or Wash Park for some spike ball. It seems most men only have a few tried and true outfits – one prepared for each occasion – and will wear them until the fabric has worn through and they’re forced to replace them.

Fellas, it doesn’t have to be this way. If you’ve wondered why Hinge and Bumble aren’t working for you (bro, girls these days just aren’t the way they used to be) then we’re here to offer you inspiration to some minor alterations to your style to help you glow up in 2025. New year, new you.

Breaking Out of Your Style Patterns

We all have a few styling patterns that we are very attached to. Whether it’s the silhouette or a certain color or fabric, we’ve most likely found ourselves reaching for the same things in our closets again ad again.

There is nothing wrong with leaning on outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident – you should feel comfortable in what you’re wearing. But if you are looking for a quick way to glow up, try stretching out of your comfort zone. If you find yourself a habitual creature and often wearing the same things — changing it up can be all the noticeable ‘glow up’ attention you are seeking.

For breaking out of the repetitive athletic attire, try a small change, like a linen button-up shirt. You’ll find them comfortable as well as attractive, and you can take them into the summer months. If you want to push yourself, experiment with wide leg pants, and add more color to your ensembles for some spice.

Really attached to your favorite pair of pants and not willing to budge there? Switch out your hoodie for a knit sweater. Try it out on a night out or a first date.

For the winter, add a long coat to your outfit and you’ll be giving Paris Fashion Week (this is a good thing).

Invest in Footwear

We’ve seen the 13.1 stickers on your Crosstrek – we know you like running, kings. While an athletic look can be quite attractive, if you find yourself constantly reaching for your Hokas, try a new shoe to upgrade your look. A slimmer shoe can be paired with simple jeans and a tee for an overall put-together and casual look. Try Adidas HANDBALL SPEZIAL SHOES, New Balance 550, Reebok Club C Revenge Sneakers, Nike Killshot 2 Leather, or the The RS01 Sneaker from Rothys.

For a more serious occasion, we quite like a loafer or chelsea boot.

Upgrade Your Accessories

Speaking personally, there’s nothing more attractive than men wearing a simple chain and earrings (insert lip-biting emoji). Jewelry can make some men balk – it can be quite a send when you’re used to a simpler look. Here are some more tame and less permanent ways to add accessories to your wardrobe.

Invest in a nice watch to wear with your outfits for an easy way to glow up. Classy and smart, watches instantly elevate your look. For those who are attached to their smart watches, there are ways to elevate your Apple Watch or Samsung Watches. Try switching out the band for a metal link band, or a leather band for those nights you’re going out.

For the men who are wanting to push into new fashionable territory – try some stacked necklaces or some rings. Try black painted nails if you’re going on a date with a mean bisexual.

Get a New Haircut

Potentially the easiest way to glow up – try a new haircut. A lot of people – regardless of gender – get stuck in a rut with their hair and tend to stick to what they have tried and is true. For most men, hair is the most identifiable thing about your look – and it’s noticeable when you try something new.

If you have a barber you trust, chat with them for what cut might suit you best. The simple buzzed haircut is trending right now, but maybe you should try growing out your hair a bit for a new look.

Embrace your texture as well. If you have curly hair that you keep short, give it a shot to grow out and find a curly hair routine that works for you. Water, a curl cream, and gel is all you need to see your curls transform.

And if all else fails, get into a relationship. You know what they say about the ‘girlfriend’ effect…
