“After 18 incredible years, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to close the doors of Fruition,” said Chef Alex Seidel.
While Denver welcomes many new dining experiences, it will also lose some of the gems that helped shape the local culinary scene. One such gem is Fruition Restaurant. Founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Alex Seidel, Fruition Restaurant opened its doors 18 years ago in the Denver County Club Neighborhood. With a contemporary menu that utilizes seasonal fresh ingredients, Fruition Restaurant will be a missed treasure.
“What began as a dream in our tiny kitchen on 6th Avenue grew into something far beyond what I could have imagined. The magic of this space has always been about more than just the food; it’s been about the connections made across our tables and the memories created in this dining room” explains Siedel.
With its frequently changing and inventive menu and curated wines from Spain, California, France and Germany, Fruition Restaurant provides a unique concept that allows diners a new experience with each visit. If this is your first time hearing about Fruition Restaurant and you want to add it to your must-visit restaurants in January, you will want to book your reservation now as Fruition Restaurant will provide its last dinner service on January 12, 2025.
“To every passionate and talented person who has been part of our team – from the cooks who tied on aprons in our humble kitchen to the servers and sommeliers who created unforgettable experiences in our dining room – you’ve poured your hearts into making Fruition special night after night,” says Seidel. “It’s been an honor to see where all of these talented people have gone after their time at Fruition, and I’m incredibly proud of the legacy we’ve created together.”
Fruition Restaurant is located at 1313 E 6th Ave., Denver. Dinner service is offered Monday to Sunday at 5 p.m. by reservation. You can also enjoy carry-out Monday to Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
