As the Mile High City prepared for the holiday season, they did so the only way they know how: with secondhand finds, curated vintage and a trip to a ThriftCon event.

Thriftcon was originally founded in 2019 and took place exclusively in the streets of Denver, Colorado. Now, despite ThriftCon’s presence in every corner of the country, they still return to their home digs for exclusive special events.

This year, ThriftCon brought a holiday party to RiNo Arts District for their THRIFTMAS event. THRIFTMAS featured local vendors who brought vintage clothing, vinyl and home goods to The Brighton.

And in typical Denver fashion, attendees were wearing their secondhand holiday best. Here’s our favorite attendee looks from THRIFTMAS 2024.

Our Favorite Outfits From THRIFTMAS 2024

Besties Stephanie Arias (@lil.mushroom_16) and Dani Jenkins (@dj_010) stunt in coordinated bowling shirts and statement denim.
Caroline Poole (@caro0linee) is a graphic designer for ThriftCon — which could just be an excuse to throw a sick fit on the clock.
Matt (@trenchtrendz) brought his bestie Bronx to charm the crowd into buying more quality vintage.
Did Mykey Lattimore (@thetrapshaman) invent the color-blocking sandwich method? We like to think so.
Tea Littleton (@amalgamaintenance) is clearly some sort of fashion demigod, untouched by the danger of wearing Doc Martens 1461s without socks.
Keller Twete (@kellertwete) and Bele Kershisnik (@belakershisnik) show fashion expertise through playful silhouettes and masterful accessorizing.
Noelani Schimpf (@6sinnerswelcome9) uses comfy layers to stay warm while looking cool.
Nick Quinones (@nickda.slikty.s1oth) and Tate Stetson (@blinkertonsby10)
With Nick Hoch’s (@fukup.co) custom patchwork denim and Devon Voelschow’s (@bongbroke) wide-leg jeans, this pair looks so tough, it’s almost intimidating. (Don’t worry: they’re actually super approachable, like all ThriftCon vendors are).
Alivyah Schimpf (@olive.shroom) brings cutie-pie goth aesthetic to Thriftmas, complete with fuzzy boots and the mini-est mini skirt possible.
Syem Seltene (@_syemseltene_) combines vintage Guess leather and a bedazzled belt buckle to curate the coolest outfit, well, ever.
Danny (@dannyjopage), owner of Heart of Vintage and Emma Marlow (@emmamaarlow) make vending Thriftmas look effortless with Harley Davidson leather and a mini bubble skirt.
Kendall Rohach reminds us all to stay playful this holiday season with monochrome red and a tribute to The Lord of The Rings trilogy.
