The Lowdown: Ring in the new year at one of Colorado’s most timeless hotels – The Broadmoor. Choose between classy and elegant at its New Year’s Eve Gala to energetic and jubilant at its New Year’s Eve Bash. At the gala, experience a five-course meal accompanied by live music from Ken Miller and The Broadmoor Pops joined by Broadway star Marcus Lovett and singer Julie Bradley. Dress up in your best formal wear (black tie optional) outfit and head to the Broadmoor Hall to enjoy luxury bites like Ahi Tuna & Osetra Caviar tostada, Chilean seabass provençal and grilled Angus beef tenderloin with maître d ’hotel butter. The Lowdown: Join Apple Blossom for its NYE Prix Fixe Dinner with its four-course menu paired with wine from Continental Divide Winery. Desserts like white Belgain chocolate cold cheesecake and blackberry-port reduction are paired with Mountain-aged port; and its yeast cake with almond cream foam and ricotta ice cream is paired with 2020 Riesling Suss.

Apple Blossom knows the hangover after NYE is real, so it’ll be hosting its ‘Hair of the Dog’ New Year’s Day Brunch fit for those barely crawling out of bed. Enjoy its brunch options from its brunch menu like pumpkin french toast, lamb hash, eggs benedict, pork belly fried rice and more. Perhaps more fitting for this meal would be its hangover burger with egg, cream cheese, bacon, jalapeño jelly and fries. If you didn’t get enough in you the previous night, opt for its bottomless mimosas or selection of cocktails and draft beers. Non-boozy options include honey fig dirty chai, spiced brown sugar latte and rosemary ginger lemon soda, and more, but we all know water might be the best first option to nurse your hangover away.
