Coming To Sculpture Park This Saturday: First Annual Denver Ska Fest

The first annual Denver Ska Festival kicks off Saturday June 15th with an impressive lineup of quintessential ska crews including Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, Five Iron Frenzy, The Planet Smashers, The Potato Pirates, Kill Lincoln, Joystick!, Sorry Sweetheartm and DJ Tara 2-Tone.

The festival, which opens its doors at 1pm, will bring Sculpture Park to life with music, as well as a variety of food & drink options, vendors, and of course lots of dancing. Tickets are available at AXS.com and more information can be found HERE

The site of the Arts Complex has a long and noteworthy history as a cultural and civic center for metropolitan Denver, the state of Colorado, and the entire Rocky Mountain region. Sculpture Park is a unique outdoor venue and public space at the edge of the Arts Complex. This distinguished area is well known for its iconic “Dancers” sculpture that can be seen traveling along Speer Boulevard. The 60-foot high sculpture by Jonathan Borofsky is part of the Denver Public Art Collection and a landmark in downtown Denver.

Sculpture Park hosts many large outdoor festivals, concerts, private receptions, workouts and high-profile events including the Shakespeare Festival and American Heart Association’s Heart Walk.
