The Lowdown: Duane Topping is not only a brilliant designer but a retired Army veteran now armed with a sewing machine and passion for creating wearable art. As a self-proclaimed feminist, he creates custom designs for the female form and celebrates the natural curves and contours of a woman’s body while empowering them to be their strongest, most authentic selves. Topping’s latest collection will show during the DFW Local Designers Fashion Show on November 4.
Allison Nicole Designs
Where: 3000 S. Jamaica Ct., Aurora
When: Atelier hours vary
The Lowdown: Allison Berger is a multitalented designer based in Denver who is also taking her work to the DFW runway for the Local Designers Fashion Show on November 4. Berger will create custom apparel to fit exactly what you are looking for. In addition, you may rent any gowns of your choice or provide your measurements to receive any designs from collections that are for sale.
