Well, this is unexpected. Big Gigantic is set to perform a benefit concert in conjunction with Conscious Alliance at none other than Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox. Going down on December 6, of this year, Big Gigantic is set to perform a set at the former brothel venue. The intimate performance will be a particular treat to fans who are used to seeing the electronic duo at venues like Red Rocks and massive festival stages like Coachella and Electric Forest Festival. In fact, the duo’s last appearance in Denver was for their annual Rowdytown doubleheader concert at Red Rocks this past September, so for those caught in the back of the amphitheater or missed the performance altogether, the Ophelia’s benefit concert will serve as a second chance.

The beneficiary, Conscious Alliance is a Boulder-based non-profit centered on the mission of supporting communities through hunger relief, particularly in the form of large-scale food drives. The non-profit has previously partnered with the likes of STS9 and Bassnectar amongst others, and have previously hosted food drives in conjunction with Big Gigantic’s Rowdytown.

Tickets for the benefit are currently on sale via Ticketfly, starting at $75, but act fast, as they surely won’t stick around long.
