Kick off your week by honoring indigeneity at the Indigenous People’s Day Pop-Up Dinner and end it by running for some brunch at the 5th Annual bRUNch. Indigenous People’s Day Pop-Up Dinner

The Lowdown: Comal Heritage Food Incubator hosts an Indigenous People’s Day Pop-Up Dinner. The event celebrates Indigenous People’s Day with each dish created from pre-colonial ingredients prepared by Chef Andrea Murdoch, the founder of Four Directions Cuisine. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Four Winds American Indian Council.

Oystoberfest

The Lowdown: Blue Island Seafood & Oyster Bar host Oystoberfest. The event features a month of oyster specials. Oysterfest starts this Monday with $0.99 oysters all day long. You can also have the chance to learn how to shuck oysters with a chef and slurp the sea delicacies down.

Ratio Sessions

The Lowdown: Ratio Beerworks presents Ratio Sessions. The event features an intimate concert with The Sidekicks, a meet and greet and more. You can sip on a special brew release and listen to an interview with the band followed by a short jam session in the taproom.

The Lowdown: Snooze partners with LiveWell Colorado for LiveWell Colorado’s Inaugural Taste & Talk Breakfast. The event features a breakfast from Snooze and a chance to speak with local food justice and lifestyle experts in a speed dating setting. Proceeds from the event will benefit LiveWell’s mission of accessible healthy living habits for low-income communities.

Build n’ Brews
