Monday Sandwich Making

The Lowdown: Help Feeding Denver’s Hungry at Monday Sandwich Making. You can make sandwiches that will feed those in need. You can also help hand those sandwiches out and see the difference you make in our communities. Make sure to dial #100 to get into the entrance when arriving.

 

Teacher Appreciation Week

The Lowdown: Bang Up To The Elephant celebrates teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. All throughout the week teachers can grab a free vegan donut, just by showing a school I.D. On May 8, teachers can sip on a free cocktail — again just by showing some proof.

 

May RAW Pop-Up Dinner

The Lowdown: Dig into a healthy and delicious four-course meal at a May RAW Pop-Up Dinner. Vital Root, in the Highlands, hosts a RAW pop-up dinner on the first Monday of every month. The dinner features raw vegan food to tantalize your senses. Everything served hasn’t been heated over 118 degrees, classifying it as “raw.” You can make your reservations here.

 

No Water No Beer

The Lowdown: The American Water Works Association honors Drinking Water Week with No Water No Beer. The event features tastings from local breweries like Renegade Brewing Company and The Interpred Sojourner Beer Project, snacks, food trucks and more. You can also participate in water pong and jam out to live music, all for a great cause.

The Lowdown: Brewability Lab hosts Pints For Pads. You can help local women in need by bringing a package of tampons, pads or feminine hygiene products in exchange for a free pint of beer. Feminine hygiene products are the least donated items that are always needed for those in need.

The Lowdown: Sip on a free brew and create something special at Build N’ Brews. You can build a Kitable mini Lego drone that you can take home with you at the end of the night. Don’t worry about bringing any tools, all of the supplies are provided so all you need to do is show up.
