St. Patrick’s Day 2018 is finally here, and that means even more beer in your belly than usual. From free concerts to the annual parade, Denver has a lot of happenings this weekend you and your friends won’t want to miss. Party like an Irishman on March 17 and make sure you’re wearing green.

1. Keggs & Eggs 2018
Where: Blake Street Tavern, 2301 Blake St., Denver
When: Friday, March 16 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Cost: Free
The Lowdown: If you listen to KTCL Channel 93.3, you’ve probably heard of Keggs & Eggs. It’s on a Friday, but this annual throwdown at Blake Street Tavern is a great time if you can wake up early and partake in the shenanigans. This year, music-lovers can see Portugal. The Man, AJR and StéLouse for free while they get some early morning drinks.
2. St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans
Where: ViewHouse Eatery, Bar & Rooftop, 2015 Market St., Denver
When: Friday, March 16 from 10 to 2 a.m., Saturday, March 17 from 11 to 2 a.m., and Sunday, March 18 from 11 to 6 p.m.
Cost: No cover
The Lowdown: Score your favorite Irish foods and drink deals in LoDo this St. Patrick’s Day at ViewHouse for some St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans. On Friday, this popular spot in downtown Denver will host brunch, Irish themed games and a silent disco, on Saturday, you can kick back and relax after the St. Patrick’s Day Parade with Irish music and drink deals, and on Sunday, you can participate in Irish themed relay games, eat corned beef and cabbage and other tasty Irish foods and win giveaway prizes. ViewHouse always knows how to throw a good party, so don’t miss out if you’re looking to celebrate downtown.
3. St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Where: Downtown Denver
When: Saturday, March 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Cost: Free
The Lowdown: Everyone knows about the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Denver. The Mile High City will host the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade west of the Mississippi again this year, and will feature Irish dancers, bagpipes and more.
4. St. Patrick’s Day Bash and Patio Opening for a Cause
Where: Alternation Brewing Company, 1539 South Broadway, Denver
When: Saturday, March 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Cost: Donations encouraged
The Lowdown: Celebrate the holiday this year and raise money for an important cause if you stop at Alternation Brewing Company on South Broadway for the St. Patrick’s Day Bash. According to the event, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Craver Family in Littleton, Colorado whose daughter Chelsea, was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder and will undergo a bone marrow transplant in March. The festivities will include $5 kombucha and beer blends and a music lineup. You can even enjoy food from the Vegan Van, a food truck that will be creating a menu of brunch and lunch food.
5. St. Patrick’s Day with Fadó Irish Pub and Howl at the Moon
Where: 1901 Wazee St., Denver
When: Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18 from 10 to 2 a.m.
Cost: $20 cover
The Lowdown: You probably heard that Fadó Irish Pub closed its doors this summer in downtown Denver, but your favorite St. Patrick’s Day host couldn’t miss out on the fun this year and is co-hosting a celebration with Howl at the Moon piano bar to celebrate its 19th year. According to the event, it will feature an all-day, outdoor festival with live bands, outdoor bars, three food trucks on site and “enough Guinness and Irish whiskey to fill Mile High.”
6. Fifth Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
Where: Black Sky Brewery, 490 Santa Fe Dr., Denver
When: Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18 from 11 to 2 a.m.
Cost: Free
The Lowdown: The brewery in Baker is hosting its fifth annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration, and you won’t want to miss out. The crowds in LoDo can be too chaotic for some, so head on over to Black Sky Brewery for corned beef and cabbage, Irish music, craft beer car bombs and whiskey.
7. St. Paddy’s Pub Crawl Denver
Where: Various venues in downtown Denver
When: Saturday, March 17 from 1 to 8 p.m.
Cost: $10-$21
The Lowdown: After the St. Patrick’s Day parade downtown, ticket-holders can enjoy the St. Paddy’s Pub Crawl at various venues in LoDo. Participating locations will include 1515 Bar N Lounge, Howl at the Moon, ViewHouse, Zanzibar, Tarantula and more.
