This week, the RiNo Art District announced it is starting a new series which gives people a behind-the-scenes look at new developments and businesses in the neighborhood. The RiNo Insider Tour Series will fund artists initiatives and other projects the district takes part of. For a $35 ticket, guests will get first looks, insider information, and food and drinks at a different location each month. “This is a win-win situation for everyone involved,” said RiNo Art District Co-Founder, Tracy Weil. “The community gets exclusive access to exciting new projects, the developers get to present their hard work, and artists in the district get additional funding.”

Rino President, Jamie Licko, explained that there is a lot of interest in all of the new projects going on around RiNo and the Insider Tour Series allows them to engage the community. “The Insider Tour Series allows us to facilitate opportunities for the community to learn more about the changing landscape in RiNo, while raising funds to support the arts and artists in RiNo,” said Licko. “These events turn the excitement and buzz that is part of our story into tangible support for the creatives who make RiNo special.”

The Series will kick off its first event at The Ramble Hotel on April 4, 2018. Guest are able to choose between two-time slots at 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. Both groups will receive a behind the scenes tour of the hotel, which is expected to open on April 30, with the hotel developer and operator, Ryan Diggins. The tour will then conclude with food and drinks at Denver’s newest cocktail lounge, Death and Co. “I’ve always loved hard hat tours, as they blend imagination and storytelling with a space that’s on the cusp of entering the world,” said Diggins. “We’re excited to host the inaugural Insider tour and provide access to people who are passionate about design and development, while raising money and awareness for artist initiatives at the same time.”

On May 2, the Insider Tour Series will take guests to The Source Hotel, which is expected to open on May 2, and to the new Denver location of the Odell Brewery on June 6. According to Odell’s Facebook page, the new location will be opening up sometime in May.
