It’s official we made it to March and around Denver that means it’s spring or as we like to refer to it, the return of craft beer festival season. Every weekend from here on out – you can expect to find all sorts of unusual beer festivals focusing on styles, flavors and even collaborations. This weekend Ratio Beerworks is hosting an event that will bring together coffee lovers, beer lovers and fans of breakfast foods at the 2018 Cool Beans Beer & Coffee Festival.

This festival — which is put on by Ratio Beerworks in conjunction with its neighbors Novo Coffee — focuses on the immense diversity of flavor that can be found from different coffee roasts and bean varieties when added to a variety of beer styles. Tickets are just $30 and attendees can expect to try coffee-infused twists on Ratio’s regular lineup in Coffee Domestica American Standard Ale, Novo Hold Steady Chocolate Rye Scotch Ale and Cascara Rented World Session IPA. In addition — there will be a Dirty Chai Hold Steady Firkin, Irish Coffee Nobody’s Darlin’ Blended Whiskey Ale Firkin and the beer we are most excited about the Chocolate Mocha Genius Wizard Imperial Stout. If you are looking for something to cure the hangover – go for the Bloody Beer featuring Domestica and Bloody Mix from The Real Dill.

The festival, which starts at 10 a.m. on March 10, 2018, will also feature a unique lineup of breakfast snacks. Glazed and Confuzed will offer doughnut holes, there will be bacon from Bacon Social House, coffee-infused pickles from The Real Dill and Kentucky Hot Browns (including a vegetarian option) from Julep Restaurant Denver. In between beers and bacon, festival-goers will be able to sample coffee from by Method Roasters, Novo and Huckleberry Roasters. Not only that, but attendees have the rare opportunity to sample Geisha Tea steeped from the flower of the acclaimed Geisha coffee plant – provided by Novo coffee.
