Just Announced – Mac DeMarco is Heading To Red Rocks This Summer

Everyone’s favorite indie rock weirdo Mac DeMarco has announced a tour, including his first headlining slot at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.  On September 10, Mac DeMarco will return to the amphitheater, following his last jaunt opening for Tame Impala in 2016. The recently announced date comes on the heels of Mac DeMarco’s fifth studio album This Old Dog, which arrived in May of last year. The indie rocker sometimes referred to as this generation’s Jimmy Buffett, played three consecutive shows in Colorado during his last visit, which saw him hurling himself off the balcony of the Gothic Theatre, covering Metallica’s “Enter the Sandman,” as well as entertaining the many audiences he played for with his signature humor and wit. While an opener has yet to be announced, rest assured, Mac DeMarco will be bringing the party either way.

Tickets will go on sale on AXS Friday, February 9 at 10 a.m.
