Degas: A Passion for Perfection

The Lowdown: The Denver Art Museum presents a special exhibition titled Degas: A Passion for Perfection. Denver Jewish Film Festival

The Lowdown: The Denver Jewish Film Festival is back in Denver. For the 22nd year in a row, the Denver Jewish Film Festival presents films created by Jewish directors, writers and more. The festival features 38 different films from 17 countries to get a full perspective of Jewish culture and life around the world.

Evening with Cleon Peterson and Shepard Fairey

The Lowdown: The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver partners with the Newman Center for the Performing Arts for an Evening with Cleon Peterson and Shepard Fairey. Artists Shepard Fairey interviews Cleon Peterson about the newly opened exhibition, Shadow of Men. The exhibition has taken over MCA Denver, using striking murals depicting chaos and violence.

SCFD Community Free Day

The Lowdown: The Denver Museum of Nature and Science host a Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) Community Free Day. The free day will feature programs and fun activities for all to participate in. You can learn about prehistoric animals, go on a scavenger hunt and more.

New Gardener Boot Camp

‘Collapsing Time’ Lecture Series

The Lowdown: The Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design welcome Michael Jones McKean as a part of  ‘Collapsing Time’ lecture series. Artist McKean focuses on nature in relation to folklore, anthropology and more will lecture about On Objects, Time, and the Fallacy of Scale.

STOMP
