Despite there being five months remaining in 2017, there’s already a reason to look forward to 2018 — and it’s a big one. The Killers have announced a tour in support of their first album in five years, Wonderful Wonderful — due September 22. The tour includes a first Denver stop in many years and is scheduled to take place at the 1st Bank Center on February 5, 2018.  The Las Vegas band’s Denver stop also marks a return to the 1st Bank Center where they performed back in 2012.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Brandon Flowers (lead-singer of the Killers) described the new album as being, “the closest thing they’ve done to Sam’s Town.” Sam’s Town is the album that took a famous band coming off the heels of a great debut and transformed such band into the superstars we know today. Come February you’ll be “coming out of your cage,” and everything will be fine — as long as you have tickets. Tickets for the show will go on sale August 11 via Altitude Tickets.
