Marian Hill performed for a sold out crowd at Denver’s Ogden Theater this past Saturday. Having been recently featured in an Apple commercial and awarded the title “The Most Shazam’d Band in North America,” the duo has surged in popularity. The 2016 release of their debut Act One pairs beautiful female vocals with dub, trap and sax influenced beats. With all of that being said, the album is hard to stand still to. On June 3, Ogden attendees had the opportunity to see the album performed live. Marian Hill translated Act One and earlier singles to the stage with colorful lights, live brass, danceable beats and a high-energy presence.
