This December you will have plenty of events to attend that will keep you in the spirit of cheerful giving. The Mile High City is starting to get cold but we have gathered some events to keep your hearts and debit cards warm.
Denver Flea presents Holiday Flea
When: Friday, December 2 – Sunday, December 4
Where: Sports Castle building – 1000 Broadway St, Denver

The Lowdown: Denver Flea is the perfect place to find locally made magic. Taking place in the Sports Castle, the shopping extravaganza is sure to leave you in the holiday spirit. Friday night is the Holiday party that will include live music, bottomless holiday beverages and access to over 200 vendors for $30. Saturday and Sunday are the all-access holiday flea experience. You can grab a craft beer, enjoy some tunes and good drink while shopping your little heart out. There is a $5 entry fee that will be donated to the non-profit organization, Rocky Mountain Micro Finance Institute.

The Lowdown: Located in the heart of RiNo, come out to Green Spaces as some of Denver’s heavy hitters team up for a great event. Fashion Denver, Beautycounter, Matthew Morris Salon & Skincare, Jaded Beauty are all planning a night of shopping and beauty. On the list of festive things to do is getting a holiday makeover. The best part is that they are raising money for Colorado-based organization, Warren Village. For over 40 years, it has been providing single parent families affordable housing, supportive family services and childcare and education.
Holiday Pop-Up at The Rayback Collective

Waves + Winter Holiday Pop Up Shop

The Lowdown: Husband and wife, Jon Hartman and Liz Henderson, are Denver natives all about the weird and inspiring aspects of our lovely planet. This evening will feature crafting, complementary cocktails, and the launch of the Waves Iceland issue at Winter Session’s studio space in Denver. The dynamic duo has a fun night planned. The event includes a workshop where you’ll use scrap leather from Winter Session products to run a workshop where you can learn to make (and walk away with) your own handmade leather jewelry. In addition, a custom bar will serve cocktails focused on unique Icelandic and Japanese ingredients. Drinks are free but tips are appreciated. On your way one make sure to pick up a copy of the latest issue of Waves zine, capturing an eclectic view of Iceland’s culture, food, music and adventure.

The Lowdown: We know it’s cuffin’ season but it may be time to break up with a bag. Timbuk2 is offering everyone a chance to break up with ANY used bag you have for 40 percent off the purchase of a brand spankin’ new Timbuk2 product. Some say it is better to give than receive but now Timbuk2 wants to make sure do both.
