Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood is famous for its chic boutiques and shopping options. With this glamorous trait, the area generally brings in a high level of shoppers, which in turn raises prices.

Boutique #1 – Deja Blue Boutique
Where: Cherry Creek location, 303 University Blvd., Denver

The Low Down: With an average price of $10 per item, this Goodwill derived boutique is a huge bang for your buck.
“We’re part of Goodwill, so the price range is $3.99 and up,” said Katherine Scott, store supervisor. “Sometimes we have designer stuff in the store and that will be a little more expensive.” The most expensive item in the store right now is a YSL purse that is marked for $300. Generally, items stay in the lower range and designer items are sold for about 10 percent of the original price. By shopping at Deja Blue you’re not only saving on great clothes and accessories, but you’re also giving back to the community.
“Our store is really special because we’re a non-profit and 90 percent of the money goes to the community,” Scott said. “We give back to job and school programs for adults with disabilities and all of our items are reasonably priced and give back to the community.”
Boutique #2 – Scout & Molly’s
Where: Cherry Creek location, 2445 E. 3rd Ave. #2, Denver

The Low Down: This chic contemporary designer boutique offers designer clothes for an affordable price.
“We have anything from about $50 to $500 in our boutique and we like to keep things under $200,” said Nesa Opp, store owner. “We have some brands that people will recognize, but some are from Italy and Australia … We want to find something unique for our customers.” The boutique offers lot of fashion for an affordable price and they host three to five events per week, which provide sales or discounted items. The boutique is currently offering 30 percent off if you mention this 303 Magazine article anytime before Jan. 1. Other sales include 20 percent off all outerwear, a sale rack for about 15 to 20 percent off items and 25 percent off within the first 24 hours of following them on Facebook or Instagram.
Boutique #3 – Inspyre
Where: Cherry Creek location, 171 Detroit St., Denver

The Low Down: Inspyre is known for keeping all of their items under $100. The Cherry Creek location is one of five Colorado stores. They are currently offering gift pieces such as candles ranging from $9 to $60 and blanket scarves for $28. Tops range from $36 to $54 and outerwear and leather jackets go for around $98.
“We have tons of little clutches that convert to an over-the-shoulder bag and those are $36,” said Angela Rygg, store manager. “We typically don’t do sales, but I do know we are bringing out a sale rack before Christmas.”The sale rack will be up in the next week or two and it will offer 50 percent off marked items.
Boutique #4 – Rags Consignment

The Low Down: Consignment shopping is definitely the way to go if you’re shopping on a budget. Rags offers items across the board for a reasonable price.
“We consider all of our items sale items because it’s consignment,” said Danielle DeFilippo, Rags employee. “We have designer brands for very cheap.” The price ranges between $18 and $400, but it tends to stay on the lower side. Lower priced items include accessories, jewelry, gloves and scarves. The higher priced items tend to be Chanel bags or really nice leather goods.
“We often have people come in and say things like, ‘I’m never shopping retail again’,” DeFilippo said. “So I feel like when shopping on a budget you can come here for that.”
Boutique #5 – Coquette

The Low Down: Coquette is great for lower prices and sale items.
“We are running a friends and family promotion right now for our customers who are on our mailing list,” said Meltem Yilmazturk, store owner. She is currently offering 25 percent off one regular price item until Christmas. The average price range is $49 to $250 and their new holiday arrivals for holiday parties are great for budgeting shoppers.
“The great thing about our holiday selection is that you can wear your holiday party outfit again,” Yilmazturk said. “We have great gift items and we have an amazing sterling silver jewelry selection that I import and support the design from Turkey and Europe.” Jewelry ranges from $39 to $179 and all designer jewelry is made by artisans.
