The Lowdown: Women helping women is a trend that we just cannot get enough of and the Dress for Success organization is doing just that. Executive director, Pep Torres, has been serving over 10,000 women in need for over 10 years. Beyonce told ya’ll that girls run the world and there is nothing like female empowerment paired with fashion. Dress for Success helps women with professional development, job training and mentorship. Belen De Leon, from KUSA-TV, will present at the event. The wonderful women who have reaped the benefits of the program will be in attendance and designs from Neiman Marcus will showcase elegant attire.

The Lowdown: 303 Magazine and Schomp Automotive are back at it again with the incomparable Fashion Weekend. Featuring some amazing local and national designers, this show has always been a major part of the Mile High fashion scene.

This night will include the Femme Fatale Intimates, Mona Lucero, Gino Velardi, Steve Sells, Maggie Burns, Anthony H, Tyne Hall, Rachel Marie Hurst and NIGHT by Charlie Price. You can expect traditional runway shows full of various elements, surprises and a unique experience.

Night 2: Saturday, November 12 – Local & National Fashion

On Saturday night prepare for Velvet Wolf, Margaret Sanzo, Scout & Molly, Fab’rik, Kotomi Yoshida, Frances Roces, Georgine and John Paul Ataker NYC. It will be similar to the Thursday presentation and full of fashionable flair.

Night 3: Sunday, November 13 – The Hair Show

Portions of the proceeds will benefit the MaxFund Animal Shelter. MaxFund is a true no kill animal shelter and adoption center that challenges the traditional methods of animal sheltering by leading the no-kill movement in Colorado.
