Black Friday is sometimes considered the culmination of corporate America. On the day after Thanksgiving, thousands of big-name stores offer massive sales that bring customers stampeding through the doors and fighting over discounted items like a scene from a movie. To give small businesses a competitive edge during this shopping craze, American Express founded “Small Business Saturday” in 2010. As of 2015, people spent over $16 billion during Small Business Saturday, according to Forbes. As if two days of sales wasn’t enough, Shop.org coined Cyber Monday to include online discounts too, said the National Retail Federation.
Boutiques in Denver don’t shy away from the shopping festivities. This year, some are running sales all three days, and some are offering up to 80 percent off. Read on to find out which small business boutiques deserve your post-Thanksgiving support.
