September is here and the Mile High City is starting to cool. But as summer leaves us, we are welcomed with one of the best months for fashion—think thick issues of the September edition of Vogue to New York Fashion Week stirring up new inspiration. But aside from these iconic east coast perennials, Denver also has some great events to kick off this season of style. There is a constant theme around these events: charity. What’s better than looking fly while supporting a great cause? We also added an event you’ll love happening at the beginning of October—just to make sure you’re full prepare for what’s to come.

The Low DownFashion Group International is hosting a runway show featuring the new Jones New York Collection. It is all about redefining sportswear for the modern woman. There will be 200 attendees and one lucky woman will win a $500 wardrobe prize. Dillard’s is donating 10 percent to the FGI Scholarship Fund that helps students studying Fashion at CSU, Art Institute of Colorado, and Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD). RSVP HERE.

D’Lola Couture Presents Noir Fashion Show

The Low DownShowcasing day, evening and bridal wear, this fashion event will feature D’Lola Couture desinger, Deedee Victory and special guest, Gino Velardi. The theme is black so be ready for some edgy designs. The intimate fashion show will benefit the Colorado Melanoma Foundation, who has created a grant in honor of D’Lola designer Deedee Vicory’s late husband, Justin Vicory. The Low Down: Boulder-based boutique, Willow, is celebrating three years of modern sophistication. Since 2013, this store has featured emerging designers, fine jewelry, luxury brands and shoes. You can help celebrate with them by shopping for a cause. All proceeds will benefit the Blue Sky Bridge, the child and family advocacy center devoted to prevention and intervention in the fight against child abuse. The Low DownThe two-day pop-up shopping event you absolutely cannot miss. Designers like CicadaRenato DicentKatherine JetterLuxe Crew and more will be present at Massif Studios. Hot & Chic is the theme so be prepared to be wowed with designs and jewelry inspired by St. Barths and Vail. Cuvee and the Boys and Girls Club will be hosting the Flight to Luxury Fashion Show the night before and many of the amazing pieces from the luxurious event will come straight from the runway. This is definitely the place to be to indulge in some international fashion.

MODE : Fashion Show Benefiting Denver Health’s Kids

Benefiting the Denver Health’s Child & Adolescent Mental Health Endowment, MODE will be full of entertainment, cocktails and mocktails and of course a fashion show. What better way to have fun while affecting change. There will be delectable food from Shanahan’s City Bakery, Ivy on the Glenn, Footer’s and Guard and Grace. My mouth watered simply typing that!
